A Day At ICL

At the staging area, guests will anticipate the breathtaking helicopter ride that drops you off at the lodge door. The short and exhilarating trip will allow guests to check into the lodge and make themselves at home before lunch.
A beacon search and avalanche scenario will then be completed to sharpen your skills, still leaving time to go out for a run or two close to home before sundown.
Back at the lodge, pondering the next day’s objective, you can warm yourself beside a cozy fire on the comfortable, new couches or make use of our cedar interior sauna with back country shower facilities.

Whether it snows a foot a day or breaks to blue skies and good stability, our guests will find terrain to suit the snow conditions at Ice Creek Lodge.
Right outside the lodge door, experience eight hundred-foot treed runs or go for a short walk up to easily double your vertical. Gently rolling alpine bowls await first, fresh tracks within a ½ hour of travel from the lodge.
