Valhalla Lake Paddleboard Tour

Highlights: Escape on an epic catered adventure traversing between hidden mountain lakes by paddleboard.

An adventure that will challenge and test your limits. Come prepared for the Valhalla Lake Paddleboard Tour, as you will have to carry up to 50 pounds across talus rocks and steep slopes.  Witness the sensitive ecosystems in this core wilderness area while paddleboarding across remote alpine lakes and camping along the way. Unplug from the distractions of the modern world and take the time to forge the kind of bonds that only extreme adventure experiences can bring.

Begin the tour from the little lake town of Slocan BC where we will accommodate you at The Col Guesthouse for your first night stay. From here, we will meet you early in the morning and we will head up into the Ice Creek Lodge trailhead in Burton BC.  We will follow the glacier fed creek through old growth cedar forests on the 9 km trail up to the lodge and spend the following day with an experienced guide hiking the area, and preparing for the ultimate tour experience!

This lodge is well situated with much of its terrain being on north facing slopes which is great for maintaining snow quality. We had a great week of backcountry skiing, in scenic mountainous terrain, with many long (thigh burning) descents on north facing slopes.
