Our hand-build cozy timber frame oasis offers 4 seasons of adventure from the remote and pristine wilds of
Summer Hiking, Climbing and Standup Paddle Boarding packages and dates vary quite a bit with the season. We offer a wide range of trips and experiences and combinations of them all. Guides are available for hire and stoked to help with trip plans and Beta for self guided parties.
Most of our winter packages include helicopter access to and from the lodge site, accommodation and a couple very stoked custodians for 7 days as well as access to our awesome Sauna and bucket shower. Weeks are booked Friday morning to the following Friday morning; December until the end of April.
We started building in 2002 with more time than money and lots of friends. Today, thankfully we still have lots of friends, a little less time and enough money to style the place out a bit. Our family of builders include Local Timber Framers, Metal and Masonry Artists & Powder slaves.
Ice Creek Village now consists of a 1450sq’ Main Lodge, Sauna, Wood shed/Ski shop, 3 bay Outhouse and a very comfortable 500sq’ Staff cabin. We are all very proud of what we have created together and that we get to share it with our family, friends and guests old & new.

Over the last 15 years at Ice Creek…
Of our days have been spent shredding blower pow and yes some of them have been snorkel days.
I have been doing hut trips in BC for 14 years and Ice Creek Lodge takes the cake. The best “home zone” skiing I have seen and with the park only one saddle away the touring is mindblowing. Russell and Courtney are top notch and keep the lodge humming like a well-oiled machine.

Ice Creek accesses some of the best big mountain terrain in the province, right out the front door.

This lodge is well situated with much of its terrain being on north facing slopes which is great for maintaining snow quality. We had a great week of backcountry skiing, in scenic mountainous terrain, with many long (thigh burning) descents on north facing slopes.

Simply put, I love Ice Creek Lodge. It’s a deeply soulful place. The lodge is comfortable without being fussy and has a handmade feel to it, from the steel work throughout to the concrete kitchen counter – a labor of love in the best sense of the word. The terrain is world class: stunning couloirs, dreamy bowls, sporty trees – everything you could ask for. And the snow is consistently excellent – quintessential BC pow. Go!
